Physical and Chemical Properties | Off-white to off-white powder. Astringent taste. Mainly by FeSO4? H2O composition, and containing a small amount of FeSO4? 4H2O. It is difficult to oxidize and is easier to preserve than crystalline ferrous sulfate. The aqueous solution was acidic and cloudy, and gradually formed a yellow-brown precipitate. Water is absorbed in the moist air of the empty chemical book to seven salts of water. No water loss was observed after heating to 120 °c. Co-boiling with water can be converted to basic sulfate. Slowly dissolve in cold water (26.6g/100ml,20 °c), heat is rapidly dissolved. Insoluble in ethanol. Almost insoluble in 50% sulfuric acid. |
Use | Uses for feeding livestock blood agent, can promote the growth and development of animals, can also be used to produce red iron oxide and other pigments |

Abstract:
synthesis of isoamyl benzoate with ferric sulfate hydrate as Catalyst, the results showed that the catalytic activity of the catalyst was higher, and the optimum process conditions for the synthesis of isoamyl benzoate were determined: the ratio of alcohol to acid was 3:1, the yield of Ester was 3.0 when the amount of catalyst was 4%, reaction time was 140 h, reaction temperature was 145 ~ 92.7% ℃.
